Mar-Apr book list
The Long Dark Tea-Time of the Soul - Douglas Adams [Typical Adams... very funny]
Journey Among Women - Diana Fuller [Short but interesting... wanting to see the movie now]
American Psycho - Bret Easton Ellis [Found it interesting and probably still would have without the violence... scary commentary on money, power, materialism and listening... hard to read in parts]
Running with Scissors: A Memoir - Augusten Burroughs [An entertaining, light read... can't help feeling it's a little embellished and wondering what the other side is... hole in roof and moving outside was hilarious though]
Lady with Lapdog and Other Stories - Anton Chekhov [Great set of short stories... says so much about people in so few words... would love to read more of his work]
Upstairs, Downstairs - John Hawkesworth [Makes me realise how little I would enjoy living in London in the early 1900s]
They Do It With Mirrors - Agatha Christie [Pretty standard murder mystery, nowhere near as good as And Then There Were None or Poirot's Last Case]
