sunnyday

I am addicted to sunny days. The ones where you walk outside and the sunshine hits you... and you just can't help smiling... welcome to the world of the happy pixie!

Melbourne Comedy Festival

This is one of my favourite festivals, but one where being random with your selection doesn't always pay off. So this year, we were a lot more selective and only saw two...

1. Daniel Kitson, It's the Fireworks Talking - it's Kitson, obviously awesome, does anymore need to be said? (I think not).

2. Charlie Pickering, Impractical Jokes - took him a little while to warm up with some unrelated, semi-funny jokes, but once he got into the main story, it was hilarious! His improvised conversation (with a French parking meter) was great and all the more funny because it went on for too long. Such great material - with toilets cemented to fences, cheap fish for sale and drunken renditions of There's Snow Business like Snow business... he couldn't go wrong. (If that doesn't make sense, you'll just have to go and see the show).
